History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Robert grew up listening to his father's many stories. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. Jocelyn liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting gnolls, the young Hugh began to lead the lost caravan. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
