His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Patrick took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sword and armor he uses now. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Rolf was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Engraver, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Shoemaker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
