History: Everard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bricklayer. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bricklayer for the past few years.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His white hair is long and unkept. He has amber eyes and a yellow hat with a red feather.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spice Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Carpenter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he is renowned for his bright tan suits and hats. He sports a flattop hair cut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Architect mother left him crippled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and doesn't want to be a cartwright and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He is fixated on the number 67. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He got into the Glassblower business at a young age. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and balancing his hectic life and new glassblower responsibilities is difficult
