Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Brewer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by illithids. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
