History: Alexandre hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Tailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and many dire rats want him driven away

History: He comes from a rich northern family. A freak accident while working with his Bookbinder father left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and further expansion of business

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
