A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Map Maker profession.

History: Gifted from a young age, Lance studied abroad. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Soapmaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Soapmaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Soapmaker job and began his own company from there.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and money/treasure

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with white colored cloaks and clothing. His blonde hair is matted, messy, and big. His brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to end his boredom

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Adventurer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Navigator, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Navigator and was forced into it by his family; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
