History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alex fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Patrick's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.
