Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 6'4". He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, and his gloved hand is found clutching a hammer. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He takes great joy in being the best Layabout in town.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His white hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are likewise green.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and retire the richest man in the west

Description: He wears blue leather gloves, a blue jacket, and tight pants, and he perpetually has his axe ready. His hair is auburn, silky, and of moderate length. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Roger is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mortician. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roger fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Description: This man prefers to wear flannel, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He has dyed his greying golden hair a little too much giving a sharp golden color. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: He wears an entirely black suit with pastel socks and a vest with buckled shoes, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'2" when asserting himself. He has wavy black hair. His eyes are violet.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world
