History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cartwright.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a robe, a symbol of luck around his neck, and a sword on his belt. His red hair is cut short. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bookbinder born in the past three hundred years. A true patriot, Hugh would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bookbinder for the past few years.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gilbert embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is content
