History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Gerard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gerard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and to reunite with his old friends

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Heward was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind.
