Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Robert was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He tends to his Scribe job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Fletcher again; and expand his business
