History: He was born in a small forest village. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Courier for the past few years.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized brown coat. His tied-back hair is blonde. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and balancing his hectic life and new herbalist responsibilities is difficult

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears a fancy yellow suit. His silver hair is cut short. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Richard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Richard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This light-skinned male dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His white hair is cut short. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Gerald lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
