History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Randal was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To protect his home; and to share knowledge with the world

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: 5'9" and muscular, this eastern man wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. He has done his best to style his brown hair to look like a famous performer. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Body Guard born in the past three hundred years. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Body Guard. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day
