One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he likes to wear yellow tank tops with green pants. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Hubert hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his dancing career. A true patriot, Hubert would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Hubert was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he is wearing a long, red cloak. His blonde hair is greasy and uncared for. This blue eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Junk Dealer mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
