History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Personality: Gilbert speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student he started as a Unemployed, but he got bored and became a Butcher. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Butcher for hire.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His childhood dream was to be a Stableman, but he was a colossal failure. He struck the Fortune-teller job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. The war was a terrible time for him, and Anthony does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he feels kind of lost in life
