He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Robert was born with his mother's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has achieved small success as a Bather.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Bather responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Alex was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Spy. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
