History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
