History: Heward was born with his mother's beautiful face. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born in a small forest village. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: 5'6" and muscular, this southern man is wearing a long, tan cloak. He has a very tight haircut. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He got into the Marshal business at a young age. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and expand his business

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 5'1" and dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His white hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult
