Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Adelard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and human compassion

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: He got into the Locksmith business at a young age. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Hubert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.
