Description: 5'7" and muscular, this southern man wears tan leather gloves, a tan jacket, and tight pants. He has shaved his head bald. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. The war was a terrible time for him, and Cory does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Cory was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Cory decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he has decided he is irredeemable

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His hair is golden and very short. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: Born to a Fortune-teller, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Henry abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman, and he perpetually has his scimitar ready. He keeps his chestnut hair in a flapper bob. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady brown eyes.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'5" when asserting himself. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a top hat. He has amber eyes.
Personality: He is a Body Guard first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: Thomas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. One day when Thomas was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Thomas was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Body Guard, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.
