History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cory grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Cory alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
