History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. John was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. John was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, and a wedding ring on his right hand. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy white hair. His hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Hubert has worked very hard to control his curse. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Hubert never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

This search led him directly into Spice Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spice Merchant work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
