Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Bernard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Bernard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has worked as a Apothecary like his mother before him.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He tends to his Junk Dealer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Conrad speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Conrad's homeland. Conrad decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
