History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Balimaar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Dyer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
