Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. This green eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by his family; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: He stands about 5'4" and sports blue clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. He has a very tight haircut. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.
Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is harsh and unforgiving.
History: John hails from a village terrorized by illithids. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and revenge

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His brown hair is heavily combed to the left. He is baby faced.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Richard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he feels kind of lost in life

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is wearing a tight blue one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. He has wavy silver hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: To be a Painter again; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. His moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He works hard and plays hard.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Simon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Simon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He bought a club and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
