History: John was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. John grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did John. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. He is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around his ears. He has gleaming, smiling green eyes.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is greedy

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears a blue coat over a green low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head. He has done his best to style his blonde hair to look like a famous performer. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He tends to his Stableman job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Scribe. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Scribe.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student he started as a Cook, but he got bored and became a Carter. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
