History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Hubert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Hubert was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Arnold is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he desires power and/or immortality
