His hair is long and black with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small tan clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his violet eyes.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He takes great joy in being the best Miner in town.

History: Born to a Farmer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Nicholas was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Nicholas's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the south to a Ruler, Peter learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He tends to his Ruler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
