History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. With a patchy chestnut beard and wild chestnut hair. His half smiles and green eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cartwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Conrad and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born to a Marshal, his father struggled to pay the bills. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Description: He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He carries a battered kukri and tarnished scimitar as well. He has a brown handlebar mustache and slicked back brown hair. He has a dull look in his blue eyes.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is an amazing painter.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was taken from his home at a very young age. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Description: This northern man is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Unemployed. His clothes are grease stained in places. His long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady gray eyes.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Lance enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Lance took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Body Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Unemployed, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Unemployed and was forced into it by his family.
