Shane Hadleigh, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears bulky violet painted plate armor, and carries bows. His blonde hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to open a new tavern
Ideals: Fighting, Opinionated. Flaws: Disease. Bonds: Attractive, Immigrant. Occupation: Scribe
Voice: Aggressive tone

Diggory Whitby, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is a mite stocky and wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His black hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His ears are large.
Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Diggory is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: Human compassion; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
Ideals: Disciplined, Justice. Flaws: Ugly, Racist. Bonds: Religious, Family. Occupation: Cartwright
Voice: Low rumbling, strings words together

Anselm Winchester, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He keeps his long white hair kept up in a rat tail. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.
History: Gifted from a young age, Anselm studied abroad. Anselm liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He is content; and a deep hatred of orcs
Ideals: Gifted. Flaws: Emotional, Mundane. Bonds: Enemies, Nature. Occupation: Mayor
Voice: Slurs words

Trey Dryden, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is a mite stocky and is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He has a very tight haircut. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to end his boredom
Ideals: Joker. Flaws: Shy, Mundane, Insane. Bonds: Attractive. Occupation: Ploughman
Voice: Breathy voice

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
