Roland Dudley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light black in addition to tight pants. His brown hair is greasy and uncared for. He has a dull look in his gray eyes.
Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: Roland was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Roland took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personal [hide]
Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.
Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature monstrous two handed axe.
