He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Bernard was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A freak accident while working with his Miner mother left him crippled. He tends to his Servant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Justin hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
