History: Shane was born with his father's beautiful face. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Kyle was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: This man stands a little under 6'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He typically wears brown cloth garments or leather armor. He sports a flattop hair cut. He has several tiny amethyst earrings on each ear.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lance grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and money/treasure

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bricklayer. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and wants to open a new tavern
