History: He was born in the west. Cory was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Shoemaker. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Assassin. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and he has passion for adventuring and risk
