History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Adelard reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Ernest was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
