History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Description: This malnourished man wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He sports a flattop hair cut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He is a Slaad in disguise. Lance abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longbow.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is an amazing painter.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with tan lining and desert motifs. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy golden hair. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He takes great joy in being the best Sculptor in town.

History: He was born into a rich family. A freak accident while working with his Courier mother left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He is greedy; and to be a courier again

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. Godfrey enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He is a Yochlol in disguise. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Dyer. He tends to his Dyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor
