History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

History: Adelard was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with yellow colored cloaks and clothing, marred by beers. He has no hair. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Lance is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Lance's homeland. Lance decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His druidic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he's looking for his big break

History: Ralf lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He wants revenge against brigands; and many brigands want him driven away
