Description: An older man who is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, tan shirt, and grey tie, he is not a threatening figure. His silver hair is greasy and uncared for. He has a dull look in his violet eyes.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His chestnut hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Gerald was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Sellsword, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 24. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Born to a Dyer, his father struggled to pay the bills. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a chocolate of some kind. He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest, marred by chocolates. He has styled his red hair well, parting it to the right. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hugh embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hugh was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and he wants to get laid
