History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Richard's homeland. Richard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Richard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Spice Merchant for hire.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dilettante work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dilettante work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
