Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is dressed in earthy colors with a black and yellow handkerchief worn on his left side. His auburn hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.
Personality: Charles is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Charles was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Painter. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: A 6'1" northern man, he wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around his neck, and a hammer on his belt. He has a long white beard with little hanging trinkets. He wears a mask on his face.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away; and he's repulsed by the pc

Description: He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His eyes are blue and catlike.
Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: He was born in the west. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Trey was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the goblins.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and many goblins want him driven away

Description: He is an average looking northern male in his early mid-life. He wears a red broad hat and red clothes. His hair is black, silky, and of moderate length. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep violet.
Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
