Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Miles isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Dilettante profession.

History: He was born in the west. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying west to reunite his family. He's also a talented Dilettante, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears a simple black robe with green stripes complete with hood. His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Dilettante. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and regain custody of his son

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Theobald was born the youngest of three triplets. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
