History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Now he works as a poetry tutor during his time off.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 45. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Miles never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. After a long history of fighting, Roland and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new navigator responsibilities is difficult
