Personality: Gilbert wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He takes great joy in being the best Mercenary in town.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has worked as a Mercenary like his mother before him.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Guy and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has wavy white hair. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Dustin hails from a village terrorized by illithids. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and money/treasure

Description: He is lean but muscular and is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. He keeps his auburn hair in a pixie cut. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions
