History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He tends to his Bookbinder job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Sailor, but he got bored and became a Shoemaker. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

History: Gerald lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
