He worked as a Bricklayer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: He was born in a small island village. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shane was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was born in a small plains village. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
