History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gilbert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. When Gilbert reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions.
