History: The child of a Bather, who enjoyed hunting, Ernest was taken on many hunting expeditions. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Reynard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Reynard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Godfrey was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
