History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bertram was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He carries a battered sai and tarnished dagger as well. His blonde hair is singed and shortened. His hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is a Mercenary first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He worked as a nervous Mercenary and found it very stressful. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and regain custody of his daughter

Description: This tall, slender man wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He has black hair. His half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. After a long history of fighting, Adam and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears suspenders and tan workpants. His shirt is grey, and he wears a heavy tan leather apron most of the time. His golden hair is long and unkept. He is baby faced.

Personality: Robert is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Robert grew up listening to his father's many stories. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants to get laid
