The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He tends to his Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During his travels, Frederick and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Frederick discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Frederick fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Gardener responsibilities is difficult; and sabotage a competitor
