John Van Es, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: He wears a worn and beaten armor, and carries warhammers. He has no hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. John was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Ideals: Fighting. Flaws: Ugly, Mundane. Bonds: Enemies, Immigrant. Occupation: Shoemaker

Don Everly, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: He dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. His black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Theodoric Dryden, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy blonde stubble. He wears just a grey suit. He has a hunchback. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. The war was a terrible time for him, and Theodoric does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Theodoric took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up glaive and armor he uses now. He bought a glaive and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Ideals: Opinionated. Flaws: Ugly, Depressed. Bonds: Military, Nature. Occupation: Navigator

Patrick Payton, Male Human [Permalink]

Personal [hide]

Description: He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized tan coat. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. He keeps his brown hair in a pixie cut. His skin is flawless and his gray eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. He has never given up on his music dream.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions.

His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
